i vow, upon my very existence, my very beliefs, that if my sister ever comes through on her threat to "beat the queer" out of her future children if they ever come out to her, i will make sure that they are aware they have someone to come to. to your children, your lovers — love is love, and beating the crap out of them won't fix anything. they will only learn to hate you, your religion, and the society that forces them to attempt to cover up the issue and let it fester like a wound for their entire life.
